Every space has a story. You feel it instinctively the moment you enter, whether that's through the furniture, the colors, the decorations, or the artwork on the walls.
Odyssey Artifacts is a curated eCommerce brand and marketplace dedicated to contemporary illustration. The brand offers premium archival prints and framed artwork made to inspire your space. It was built for the person inspired by metaphors, stories, and an imaginative style that reality cannot express.
The Studio focused on imagining a cohesive world, deigned the full scale identiy and creative direction from how things looked, moved, and sounded. The visual system balances a timeless clean and modern style inspired by museums with an editorial aesthetic that makes the identity feel premium and accessible to all levels of collectors and storytellers.
The artwork is made to be the focal point of your space, enhance it, or add a small moment of inspriation to an otherwise ordinary situation.

The visual system was built to make the artwork the focal point. Clean, modern, simplified, but still feels premium. The name intentionally referenced classic mythology and stories through time. The entire visual language was inspired by these types of adventures and incorporated symbols of ancient columns, tall grass, daggers, and serpents into the logo. These shapes carry the weight of history without being literal and evoke a world from a long time ago but still relevant today. The typography uses DM Sans to create a clean aesthetic with moments of style and character that never takes away attention from the artwork, unless when specifically intended.
The identity gives the foundation for its own mythology to evolve, balancing timeless craftsmanship and museum standards with contemporary accessibility.

Every campaign is designed as an extension of the artwork it showcases. Everything made is a derivative, abstracted, or scaled version of that story, artwork, or concept depending on its use across print, social, web, email, or other media. They feel elevated and premium but never out of reach. Just like museums. Each campaign feels like its own world while contributing to something larger, a universe where all the artwork and artifacts intertwine.
Receiving something from Odyssey shouldn't feel like an online purchase arriving in a box. It should feel like an artifact arriving home. Something discovered on an expedition from a far off world.
The artwork is made to be the focal point of your space, to enhance it, or to add a small moment of inspiration to an otherwise ordinary situation. A reminder that the world can be larger and stranger and more beautiful than our everyday experiences seem to be.

The starting point was not a marketplace. It was a world you could get lost in and dream of exploring. It believes that illustration does something no other medium can. Photography captures what is. Illustration shows what only imagination can reach.
The name had to carry the same weight as the idea behind it. Odyssey evokes something ancient and mythic, the promise of a journey that changes you, stories that connect across any time in history. Artifacts of Legend. Not prints. Not just artwork. Artifacts are objects with story, soul, and a reason to exist beyond decoration. Every illustration in the collection is one of those artifacts, something brought back from a world worth visiting, a story worth telling, or a moment worth keeping. This philosophy defines the creative direction and how the identiy can transform through every touch point and interaction.
Today the illustrations may be contemporary, but one day they will be as ancient as the Colosseum or Pantheon are to us now.
